Jem Sharples is one third of Tenors Unlimited. He is also an ex-St John's pupil. He has sent us this video clip to say hello and wish the choir and all at St John's well during lockdown. It is great to hear from him and I know the choir look forward to being able to sing with him again one day.
Can you guess who each member of staff is from photos of them when they were small?
The staff at St. John's have been trying to keep active and connected while we are all having to stay at home. We thought you might enjoy our version of the toilet roll challenge - we had to 'pass' a toilet roll from person to person. This is our way of saying hello to you all. We hope you enjoy watching...who can you spot?
Now that more children are back at school we thought we would try something different for assembly...using Zoom! This is our first attempt, which we thought we would share so that all of you at home could join in too.
On Tuesday 26th March 2019, some of the eggs hatched into chicks. We managed to get a video of one hatching out of the egg. Very eggsciting! The chicks stay in the incubator for a few hours to 'fluff up' before being moved into a cage with a heat lamp to keep them warm.
This week we have focused on online safety and how best to keep safe when we are on the internet. Our digital leaders have read some tips that they have shared alongside some of the learning that has occurred this week. We have all learned that the internet can be used for many positive things such as researching and playing games. We have all discussed how we can do this in a safe way.
