On Tuesday 26th March 2019, some of the eggs hatched into chicks. We managed to get a video of one hatching out of the egg. Very eggsciting! The chicks stay in the incubator for a few hours to 'fluff up' before being moved into a cage with a heat lamp to keep them warm.
On Friday when it was very snowy outside, Pear class decided we wanted to have a sing song to get ourselves warm and to use our energy! Some children chose to be in the audience, others chose to sing and use 'instruments'. Some children suggested the song that we play to (Horrid Henry) and they wanted a light show too so we found a background light video to play behind the performers. A fabulous afternoon for rainbow learning time!
Lily is a Year 5 Leading Lights. She wrote a song for the Reception children, then came and sang the song to the children. Well done Lily!
Maisie, Lola and Harrison are Year 5 Leading Lights. They worked together to write a song for the Reception children, they then came and sang the song and taught the children a verse with some actions. Well done to them!
